GETTING TO OUT HOTEL ziPSER BY TRAIN
From Vienna Westbahnhof Station
Take tram line 5 in the direction of Praterstern and get off at ‘Laudongasse’. The ride takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
From there, it’s just a short walk to Hotel Zipser (see map below).
From Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Main Station)
Take bus 13A in the direction of Alser Straße / Skodagasse and get off at Theater in der Josefstadt. The journey takes around 25 minutes. From there, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk away (see the map below).
ARRIVAL BY PLANE
If you’re arriving by plane, you’ll land at Vienna International Airport (VIE). From there, you have several convenient options to reach Hotel Zipser:
From the Airport
Option 1: Vienna Airport Lines (VAL)
Take the VAL 1 bus to Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Main Station), then switch to bus 13A heading towards Alser Straße / Skodagasse. Get off at Theater in der Josefstadt. Total travel time is approximately 55 minutes. The hotel is then only a short walk away (see the map below).
Option 2: City Airport Train (CAT)
Take the CAT to Wien Mitte. Then, take the U3 subway towards Ottakring and get off at Volkstheater. Transfer to tram line 2 heading towards Dornbach and get off at Lederergasse. Travel time is approximately 35 minutes. The hotel is a short walk from the tram stop.
Option 3: Suburban train (S-Bahn)
Take the S7 to Praterstern, then switch to U2 metro in the direction of Karlsplatz. Get off at Schottentor, then take tram line 43 towards Dornbach and exit at Lange Gasse. Total travel time is around 35 minutes. From there, it’s just a short walk to the hotel.

ARRIVAL By Car
If you’re arriving by car, we offer garage parking both on-site and off-site garage parking at nearby facilities (reservation recommended).
Alternatively, on-street parking is available, but please note that the 8th district of Vienna is a short-term parking zone from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm (fee applies).
Arrival from the West (A1 Motorway)
Exit the A1 motorway and continue straight ahead in the direction of the city center. Drive past Schönbrunn Palace and follow the road until you reach the Gürtel (Vienna’s belt-road). Turn left onto the Gürtel Nord, and after approximately 3.6 km, turn right onto Laudongasse just after the Uhl Church.
At the second traffic light, turn right into Lange Gasse. After 250 meters, you will arrive at Hotel Zipser.
Arrival from the South (A2 Motorway)
Exit the A2 and turn right toward the city center. Follow Triester Straße straight until you reach the Gürtel.
Turn left and continue on Gürtel Nord. After around 5.6 km, turn right into Laudongasse, just past the Church at Uhlplatz.
At the second traffic light, turn right into Lange Gasse. After 250 meters, you’ll arrive at the hotel.
