Privacy policy

The protection of the personal data of our prospective customers, customers, partners, and employees is of particular concern to us. We therefore process this data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (EU GDPR, DSG 2018, TKG 2003).

Hotel Booking

Personal data must be collected in order to book a room.

This includes:

  • Your master data (last name, first name, address, email address, telephone and fax number, date of birth, customer number),
  • the data in travel documents (passport number, passport data, date of birth, issuing authority, validity period, nationality, photo) and ID cards (ID card, driver’s license, etc., including issuing authority and validity period),
  • data on payment methods and in connection with payments, in particular with EC cards, credit cards, and bank cards,
  • special categories of data such as health data and data on special needs (e.g., vehicle registration number for parking permits),

We therefore store and process this data for these purposes and, where necessary, pass it on to third parties with whom we collaborate in order to provide the most effective and best possible service for our customers.

On our website, you have the option to make reservations through an external provider. When you click on the corresponding booking link, you will be redirected to the provider’s website. The provider is solely responsible for the processing of your personal data on that website. Please review their privacy policy.

The legal bases for these data processing processes are

the fulfillment of our pre-contractual and contractual obligations to you,

  • consent obtained from you,
  • statutory, contractual, or other legal obligations on our part (e.g., documentation rights and obligations under accounting, tax, and customs law, contract law, reporting, legal disputes) as well as § 96 TKG (German Telecommunications Act) and
  • our legitimate interests (e.g. improving our customer service, including in the area of direct marketing, or protecting our own legal interests).

The duration of storage is determined by the duration of our business relationship, the consents you have given, and the statutory retention requirements and legal obligations applicable to us. We emphasize that in the case of regular cooperation, we strive to provide the best possible customer service by familiarizing ourselves with your customer requests already submitted to us so that we can satisfy you on an ongoing and permanent basis.

Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. We have no influence on the use of this data by Facebook. In this regard, we refer you to Facebook’s privacy policy, in particular the information available at the following link:

This feature enables the visual display of geographic information and interactive maps.

When you visit pages that contain Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about the visitors to those pages. For more information about how Google collects and uses data, please refer to Google’s privacy policy at https://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html.
