The exhibition traces a path through the world of the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 – 2000) with nine stations. It has the character of a walk-in visual essay, constructed from the works of Hundertwasser and his contemporaries and photo series showing his life and work in Austria as well as in Paris, Japan, Venice and New Zealand. Among the themes of the exhibition are “The Hamburg Line”, Hundertwasser’s “speech in the nude”, his ship “Regentag” (Rainy Day) and his ecological commitment.
