ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival 2018

Vienna is a city that is famous and loved especially by the numerous magnificent balls worldwide. So the dance is in the blood of the Viennese. At the ImPulsTanz Festival, however, it is not the classical couple dance that plays a role, but the contemporary dance. From July 12 to August 18, 2018, the ImPulsTanz Festival once again presents the greats of contemporary dance art and workshops invite people to participate.

This year’s annual event is a must-have for all dance enthusiasts and once again offers a grandiose program: Europe’s largest dance and performance festival, as every year, thrills international stage stars, local artists, exciting newcomers, and the exciting European Dance Award for Young Choreography, the “Prix Jardin d’Europe”.

The numerous workshops are intended to appeal to both beginners and professionals and offer a colorful mix of different dance styles. At the end of some workshops there will again be a great final presentation of the participants and of course lovers of the dance are invited to watch the learned dance enthusiasts and get carried away. Most of the workshops are held in English.
