The best public viewing venues in Vienna

In the immediate vicinity of our Hotel Zipser, Vienna’s City Hall Square will once again be transformed into a huge fan arena for the UEFA European Football Championship 2024.

Public viewing will be possible at Vienna’s Rathausplatz for all three Austria games, both semi-finals and the final of the 2024 European Football Championship. A large number of caterers at the film festival, which opens on June 29, will be providing refreshments.

The university campus of the Old AKH is also just a few minutes’ walk from the Hotel Zipser. In the cozy and shady garden of the Stigl Ambulanz, all games are broadcast live on several screens.

One of the most popular outdoor locations in Vienna, the Strandbar Hermann on the Danube Canal, is not to be missed. Up to 2,000 visitors can watch the games live on two large LED screens while sitting on beach loungers with their feet in the sand and a cocktail in hand.
